Robbie Williams face din nou un gest în stilu-i caracteristic. De data aceasta el relansează o piesă, apărută pe piață anul trecut pe albumul „The Christmas Present”.

Numai că piesa „Can’t Stop Christmas”, varianta 2020, este o variantă modificată a celei de anul trecut. Și începe chiar așa – “Un an mizerabil/ Ce vremuri trăiești/În mod tragic mai mulți prieteni au dispărut/Niciodată nu a mai fost așa/e ca și când suntem în război”.

Evident că Robbie Williams vine și cu un clip la această piesă, care în ciuda versurilor pesimiste are ceva din atmosfera festivă a Sărbătorilor de iarnă.

În „Can’t Stop Christmas”,  artistul trece în revistă anul 2020, unul „jalnic”, marcat de Covid-19, carantină şi şomaj tehnic, dar şi de Brexit.

„Nu ne puteţi lua anotimpul, aşa cum nu ne puteţi lua vinul. Moşul e pe sania lui, dar acum la doi metri distanţă”, cântă el.

Radiourile din UK au intrat și ele în joc și difuzează piesă. Nu este de mirare dacă o vom vedea în curând sus de tot în clasamente.

Dar dacă sunteți curioși, iată și versurile, imediat după clip…
