Piesa „Christmas Isn’t Christmas” a fost lansată la mijlocul lunii noiembrie, (videoclipul acum mai puțin de două săptămâni), dar abia acum o întîlnim pe FM-ul românesc. Are toate caracteristicile unui hit de succes. Este nouă, dar în același timp are structura unei compoziții clasice. Ai impresia că ai mai auzit-o undeva și este o “marcă înregistrată”. Sună ca și cum ar fi fost îngropată într-o “capsulă a timpului”la sfârșitul anilor 90 și descoperită 25 de ani mai târziu. Și, da, sună bine.

Este un cântec nou scris care are toate caracteristicile unui hit standard de Crăciun, trupa dezvăluind cel mai important lucru din acest sezon – să fii alături de persoana pe care o iubești.

Trupa a propus o piesă ca „un cadou de Crăciun anticipat” pentru fani, a fost motivația lor.

Videoclipul este filmat într-o biserică din Nashville.

Super-fanii Bon Jovi știu deja că acesta nu este primul cântec de sezon al grupului. Trupa a lansat „I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas” ca parte B a piesei „Keep the Faith” în 1992. Și, bineînțeles, au lansat coverul “Please Come Home for Christmas”, care a devenit un hit de top 10 în Marea Britanie în 1994.

Anul viitor trupa va împlini 40 de ani de existență
